Project 52

I've decided to attempt another Project 52 (or P52 because it's easier to say).

I know what you're thinking.  What the hell is a P52?

Well... let me enlighten you.

A P52 is a photography project based on taking one photo a week based on a given theme.  I'm part of the P52 group over at Clickin' Moms, so all the prompts are being given by my lovely friend (and awesome photographer) Sue!

I'm going to try and post every week, but like this week, I'm posting two.  You know how life, kids, and sounding like a 20 year smoker because you're coughing up a lung gets in the way.  Didn't get the hint I've been sick?  Yes, I've been sick for a little over a week now.  I was sounding like a diesel engine had been planted in my chest for awhile there.  I'm on the mend, but the cough is stickin' around way too long.

Week 1 - Self Portrait
natural tendency to procrastinate had me taking this photo after an hour of taekwondo training, sans makeup.

Week 2 - Intentions
though this week was about new years and new resolutions, I decided to take the theme the other way.  It's not that I'm against resolutions, but I have goals for this year which I only share with my closest family (aka my husband).  I decided to take a photo with intent (yes, it was allowed and I didn't break any rules, sheesh).  My intent was to show the struggles over toddlerhood.

I already have a new theme as of today, and am trying to figure out my take on it.  In the meantime, I'm going to find some Robitussin to take care of my cough before my abdomen starts screaming at me for working my core muscles too much.
