WHAT IS FINE ART SCHOOL PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY?
My goal is to provide Fine Art School Portraits through a custom, boutique experience for all the families attending the schools who have chosen me to photograph their students. I strive to offer a personal, professional, and unique experience. Unlike large, corporate photography agencies, I only select a few schools in order to provide superior customer service and artistic images. These portraits are timeless, classic and will last throughout the years.
I strive to capture the personalities of the children I photograph. By not forcing a smile, I aim to shoot authentic images of every child. The outcome is genuine expressions and timeless portraits that are far better than the traditional cheesy grin we have become to expect from school portraits with bright flashes and unflattering, outdated backgrounds. I provide an easy and fun atmosphere for your child to be themselves and take pride in providing an environment where kids will naturally be themselves.
WHAT SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?
I offer a completely online operation. Families will be linked to a password protected online ordering gallery. Galleries are set-up according to grade, homeroom class, teacher or whichever grouping makes sense for the school. Every child will be provided 2-5 images, displayed in both color and black and white. Families are able to choose the photos they want printed, as opposed to having a pose chosen for them. In addition to photo prints, I also provide boutique products, such as canvas gallery wraps, metal images, and digital images for future printing and archiving. I will provide a detailed PDF document describing all ordering procedures and shooting day preparations which will be distributed by the schools to families prior to photo day.
Prints are ordered online and delivered directly to the school.
I provide all equipment needed for photo day.
I will provide the school with high resolution digital images to use for yearbooks, website, school advertising, and school IDs.
I handle any questions from parents and families about ordering and products.
I take class photos.
I take staff photos.
I will work with schools to provide a custom experience that will fit your unique needs.
HOW MANY STUDENTS CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE?
I am able to provide a unique school portrait experience to schools with as little as 50 students up to 750 students. I have worked with children ages 1-18 in my fine art school photography.
ARE THESE IMAGES EXPENSIVE?
My rates are competitive and nothing is due up front. All profit is made from ordering. I offer a variety of collections and a-la-carte products to fit everyone's needs. I also donate 10% of my profit to the schools that I photograph!
WHAT TIME OF YEAR DO YOU CONDUCT THESE FINE ART SCHOOL PHOTO SHOOTS?
I work with each individual school to schedule shoots any time during the academic year.
