Raising Cajuns in Texas is a personal project of mine. My parents were born and raised in New Orleans, and my husband's family is from Baton Rouge. I spent a good part of my summer every year growing up in Louisiana. My husband and I both attended Louisiana State University. We have strong family roots in Louisiana which we are trying to instill in our children. Even though we are living in Texas, I'm documenting my children's' adventures growing up which will include the occasional crawfish, doberge cake, Mardi Gras, and LSU Football game.
